Join Advanced Tire Service as an Automotive Mechanic and enjoy a weekday schedule with no weekends or night shifts. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance with efficiency and quality
• Test-drive vehicles and use specialized diagnostic tools and equipment
• Inspect vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning
• Communicate directly with the Service Manager regarding additional service needs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology and diagnostics
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform routine service inspections and lubrication of major components
• Complete other duties as assigned while working independently or within a team

 

Required Qualifications

• Own a personal set of tools
• Experience repairing passenger cars and light trucks
• Strong skills in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C systems preferred but not required
• Valid, clean driver's license
• Willingness to submit to drug screening and background check
• Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience
• ASE certifications or progress toward certification
• Experience performing 4-wheel alignments
• Expertise with electrical and suspension systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
