The position runs from August 6th through December 8th, aligning with school hours (7:30 am - 3:00 pm), and involves providing care across multiple school sites within the district-offering both variety and the opportunity to build meaningful professional relationships.


Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt strategies to support students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Comfortable servicing multiple campuses throughout the district
• Passion for working with children and collaborating with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy programs for K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary team to support students' educational goals
• Travel to various school sites within the district, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with IEPs
• Document and report progress regularly, maintaining thorough and timely records
• Provide training and resources to school staff when needed
