Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Oasis is required.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - Riverside Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - Riverside Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Vent experience required.

Required Credentials: Riverside Regional Medical Center does not accept license hits.

Preferred Credentials: NRP preferred for NICU experience.

Special Requests: You are not allowed to work for both Riverside Travel assignments and Riverside Per Diem contracts simultaneously. You must choose one or the other.

Unit Details: Neonatal, adult, and geriatric patient population. Uses Bipap-V60, High-Flow, Veletri, Volara, and Synclara. Level II trauma center with 3 ICUs; 7-10 RTs depending on census.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend.

Floating Requirements: Will cover ICU, ED, MS, and NICU if experienced.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
