Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Work Details Work Shift: 8 Hours – Night Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 Compensation: Starting Rate $35.00 – $48.00 $24,000 Sign‑On Bonus Union Position: No Med/Surg residency option available – $24,000 sign‑on bonus with 3‑year commitment $3.50 night shift differential Responsibilities Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilize appropriate age and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. Provide care throughout all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move along the continuum of care. Plan and coordinate care, conduct patient assessment, provide patient education, triage, and perform various nursing interventions. Operate within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure. Recognize and apply the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements published by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program; AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA are acceptable. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing is practiced and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
