HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a Physician Assistant for an established Federally Qualified Health Center in Northern Maine.

This outpatient primary care position offers the opportunity to practice with a broad clinical scope while working alongside physicians, Medical Directors, and other healthcare professionals. The PA will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and help improve healthcare access for patients throughout a close-knit rural community.

Full-time, part-time, and contract arrangements may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
• Conduct physical examinations, wellness visits, and preventive screenings
• Evaluate and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
• Diagnose and manage chronic medical conditions
• Develop evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans
• Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications within applicable licensure and authority
• Educate patients and families regarding prevention, treatment, and long-term health management
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians, specialists, and community resources
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Participate in quality-improvement and population-health initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Active Maine Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain one
• Prescriptive authority or eligibility to obtain it
• Ability to provide primary care across the lifespan
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to accessible and patient-centered care
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative rural-health environment

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual compensation range: $105,000–$185,000
• Starting compensation based on experience, education, certifications, employment structure, internal equity, and market conditions
