Coordinator, Legal Talent Management

Job Description The Coordinator, Legal Talent Management is responsible for executing programming in support of the Legal Talent Management function for lawyers in all U.S. offices. The Coordinator’s work supports several core processes including lateral integration, lawyer evaluation, and promotion, as well as first‑year integration, resource management, performance management, legal personnel matters, global mobility, secondment efforts, policy development, committee functions and various lawyer events. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Legal Talent Management. Overtime and some travel may be required. The role is based in New York, NY, Houston, or Dallas, with intermittent office presence required. Responsibilities Communicate effectively and proactively with firm lawyers (partners and lawyers) Work closely with LTM team members to enhance connectivity across the lawyer population Aid in execution of lawyer year‑end evaluation and compensation processes Support lawyer development through LTM integration initiatives Leverage a variety of data sources to create monthly reports, identify trends, and update dashboards Provide insights in support of lawyer retention efforts Help facilitate firm‑wide programming, including local and national events Complete other tasks in support of the legal talent function at the firm Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum two (2) years of professional work experience, preferably at a law firm or other professional services environment Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel Experience with Workday is a plus Professionalism, personal integrity, high degree of confidentiality and discretion Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness, and excellent organizational skills Good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent work product Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Interest in working on and in support of a team Confident interacting with all levels of the organization, both legal and administrative Reliable, flexible, and a can‑do attitude in all situations Compensation and Benefits Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The full‑time base annual salary for this position in the New York City market is expected to range between $75,000 and $100,000. Salaries in other markets will vary based on local market data. Bonus opportunities are non‑guaranteed and dependent upon individual and firm performance. Benefits include three medical plans, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, pre‑tax benefits such as health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) savings plan and profit‑sharing plans where eligible, and fertility benefits for full‑time employees. Paid time off includes a minimum of 20 days based on role and tenure, paid parental leave of at least 14 weeks, and 11 firm holidays.
