• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

The Sterile Processing Tech Lead is responsible for the decontamination of instrumentation and equipment, preparation and packing of instrument trays and the sterilizatio n of instrumentation. They  work closely with the departments such as OR, Dental Clinic , and Nursing units to ensure deliver y and pick up of equipment and instruments throughout the hospital.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active and current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current computer systems, equipment, or programs used in the organization.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1+ years’ experience in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of Epic Software.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
