Your expertise will be focused on conducting comprehensive assessments—counseling duties are covered by the school’s own counseling staff. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying student needs, guiding appropriate interventions, and collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active School Psychologist license in Texas required
• Previous experience working in a school or district-based setting, ideally with elementary age groups
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and reporting skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt to a multi-campus structure and balance varying priorities
• Professional references must be provided prior to consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legally compliant evaluations for special education eligibility
• Prepare detailed, accurate assessment reports
• Engage with school teams to interpret results and inform intervention plans
• Participate in IEP and eligibility determination meetings as needed
• Act as an educational partner to staff and families across assigned campuses
• Select and maintain a consistent virtual workday each week, with in-person presence on remaining days
