Project Engineer | North Carolina

We’re partnering with an established company seeking a Project Engineer to support equipment and system projects from initial design through installation and startup. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys mechanical design, troubleshooting, and working with engineering and manufacturing teams.

What you’ll do:

Develop equipment designs, component specifications, and project cost estimates.
Size system components and develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Partner with CAD designers to produce detailed engineering drawings.
Coordinate component purchasing and maintain project documentation.
Support onsite system startups, testing, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support for new project opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in an engineering or technical role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, valves, piping, and related components.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel locally and out of state up to 25%.
