Payroll Administrator

BFV Shared Services provides HR, IT, and Accounting support to a variety of companies under the Black Forest Ventures umbrella. We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator at our office in The Woodlands. This position processes payroll for nine different companies (over 600 employees).Responsibilities include:Processing accurate and timely payroll from pre-payroll review through final submissionReviewing earnings, deductions, taxes, direct deposits, and payroll changesReconciling payroll totals and resolving discrepanciesMaintaining payroll recordsResponding to employee payroll questionsTimecard edits when neededPaid Time Off entries / reviewWage garnishment reviewOnboarding & off boarding of employeesResponding to Employment VerificationsComplying with applicable federal, state, and local payroll requirementsAssisting with payroll tax filings, year-end processing, and employee tax formsSupporting audits and reporting requestsProtecting confidential employee and payroll informationThe ideal candidate demonstrates:Exceptional attention to detailSound judgmentDiscretion with confidential informationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills2 – 3 years payroll experience with multi-state experience a plus.Must be highly organized, have the ability to set priorities and meet strict deadlines.Work with minimal supervision and have the ability to proactively resolve issues.Clear written and verbal communication with employees, managers, Human Resources, and Accounting.Fluent in Spanish and English is highly preferred.Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and knowledge/experience of Paycom software is beneficial.This is a full-time position working standard Monday thru Friday office hours, reporting to the Vice President of Administration that offers:Competitive base salaryPaid vacationFull medical, dental, & vision coverage offeredLife insuranceDiscount Card401k w/ Company MatchFlexible Spending Account #J-18808-Ljbffr Bfv Shared Services Llc
