Senior Accountant

Position Summary Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team in a newly created position. This role will report directly to the Director of Finance and take primary responsibility for the financial statements and general accounting for a multi-entity organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a financially strong, well-run organization and work closely with the Director of Finance. Highlights Newly created Senior Accountant position Excellent visibility – reports directly to the Director of Finance Great work/life balance with no overtime or weekends Very manageable accounting workload Laid-back, collaborative culture Generous PTO, sick time and holidays Responsibilities Assist with the monthly accounting and financial reporting Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information Work closely with the Director of Finance on accounting and reporting matters Support year-end close, audits and other reporting requirements Assist with financial analysis and special projects Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls and reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong general accounting and financial reporting experience Experience preparing monthly financial statements and managing general ledger accounting Solid financial acumen and strong analytical skills Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities Collaborative and team-oriented Strong communication skills and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
