Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Job Summary As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, your voice influences patient care and you shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Responsibilities Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care. Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services and collaborate with the management team. Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create teamwork environments that support improved outcomes. Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Operationalize nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement. Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and implement courses of action including training, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor aspects in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support proper inventory control and manage supplies and equipment. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 60 months of employment start date. Registered Nurse. Associate Degree. Department-specific experience required.
