Distribution Center Warehouse AssociateLocation: 6425 Campus Circle Dr W. West Shore Home operates in over 40 locations nationwide and is home to over 3,000 employees!Purpose of Position:The Distribution Center Warehouse Associate will assist the Distribution Center Supervisor in supporting the assigned Regional Operations team by handling shipping and receiving, maintaining consumables and supplies, handling building maintenance, and participating as needed in Lean events, 6S, and Inventory Management Systems.Key Role Accountabilities:Shipping and Receiving:Examine deliveries for damage.Review Bill of Ladings and packing slips for accuracy.Verify the quantity and correctness of incoming materials against bills of lading and document any discrepancies.Notify on-site supervisor of any discrepancy in material or documentation.Route incoming goods to the proper departments.Supplies/Consumables:Maintain consumables quantities to instructed levels.Ensure accuracy when picking product.Perform periodic physical inventory counts.Building Maintenance:Perform light building maintenance throughout facility as need or instructed.Remove snow/ice from parking lots, sidewalks and steps as needed.Keep warehouse neat, clean, and organized.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience working with shipping and receiving preferred.Forklift experience preferred.Organized self-starter.Ability to perform basic mathematical functions related directly to job functions.Benefits:Comprehensive Health Insurance options (Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident, Life, Critical Illness, Short and Long-Term Disability)401(k) Retirement Plan with company matchHSA plan with company matchPaid holidays and paid time off (PTO)Employee Referral ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramPaid training and unlimited professional growth potentialCompensation: The approximate salary range for this position is $21-$23 per hour.
