Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join a busy Acute Care Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, assisting with a wide range of cardiac, vascular, peripheral, interventional radiology, and neuro-interventional procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamics during Cath Lab procedures.
• Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field and ensuring patient safety.
• Supporting procedural workflow and collaborating with the Cath Lab team.
• Participating in the on-call rotation for emergent and inpatient cases.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Cath Lab experience.
• Active ARRT certification (Required).
• Fluoroscopy certification (Required).
• Current BLS certification.
• Must have experience with:
  • Cardiac/Coronary procedures
  • Vascular and Peripheral interventions
  • General Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Neuro-interventional procedures
• Must be comfortable with:
  • Conscious and moderate sedation
  • Airway management
  • Cardiac drips (including Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
  • Balloon pumps
• Experience with Cerner charting is preferred.
• RCIS or CCT certifications alone will not be accepted.
