Position Overview
This position is responsible for driving new membership growth, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and strengthening relationships with prospective and current members. The role combines consultative sales with personalized customer service to create meaningful connections, communicate the value of membership, and support long-term member engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and club membership sales goals
- Learn about each prospect’s grooming, lifestyle, professional, and personal needs
- Provide personalized club tours and create an exceptional first impression
- Explain membership options, benefits, pricing, policies, and enrollment requirements clearly
- Confidently ask for the sale and guide prospects through the enrollment process
- Follow up consistently with leads, referrals, and first-time guests
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, follow-up activities, and sales results
- Overcome sales objections and communicate the value of membership
- Build strong relationships with prospective and current members
- Help retain members by ensuring they feel known, valued, and connected
- Identify opportunities to increase member engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty
- Promote premium services, retail products, private liquor lockers, business lounge reservations, and member events
- Generate referrals through exceptional service and ongoing relationship development
- Collaborate with club leadership and internal teams to ensure a seamless prospect and member experience
- Monitor membership trends and provide feedback on sales opportunities, guest preferences, and member needs
- Support a welcoming, polished, and service-focused environment throughout the club
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, hospitality, luxury retail, private clubs, or relationship-based sales
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor
- Ability to build trust and establish meaningful relationships
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed
