Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation. The expected start date is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week. Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. The final start date will be confirmed prior to the start week. Unit will accept first-time travelers. Local candidates are accepted with a rate difference. Unit will accept a total of 70 CT procedures per day. Call requirement is 1-2 weeks of call, depending on the rotation. Unit is a two-camera department with specific equipment. Charting system required is EPIC and PACS. Work settings include adult acute care, outpatient care, and emergency department. Image display skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement. Candidates must be willing to float within/near the facility as per job description. Scrubs are not provided; colors specified are royal blue. Interview availability is required for the candidate. All aspects of patient care will involve diverse age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Expected daily census is approximately 40 with multiple visits per day. Unit is equipped to handle both level I and level II trauma cases. Additional unit information includes the preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation safety practices.
