As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol in Pleasanton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $38.90 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Tue: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Sat: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM Sun: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter zones to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, verifying credentials and reporting concerns through established channels. Support Allied Universal team operations by preparing reports, sharing observations, and following post orders for a dynamic patrol environment. Minimum Requirements An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required. Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
