The Houseperson plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of a hospitality or healthcare facility. This position ensures that public and private areas are clean, orderly, and well-stocked, contributing to a positive environment for guests, patients, and staff. The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by handling tasks such as waste removal, linen transport, and replenishing supplies, which helps maintain operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Strong work ethic and reliability with a commitment to punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials from guest rooms, public areas, and service zones.
• Transport clean linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping carts and storage areas as needed.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and stairwells.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Support housekeeping staff by preparing rooms for cleaning and restocking supplies to ensure timely room turnover.
