Emergency Department Nurse

Job Opening HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department (ED) for an 11‑week assignment in Manchester, New Hampshire. Position Details Specialty: ED – Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 11 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12‑hour days Employment type: Travel Facility Overview 10 procedure rooms 1 trauma room Staffing: 12 staff members (1 Charge RN + 2 RN per shift, 7a–7p / 7p–7a) Patient ratios: 5:1 (flexible with trauma room) Equipment: US IV skills, Lucas Device, Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis EMR: Meditech Expanse Patient population: multi‑comorbidities, NEHI, DKA, sepsis, trauma, stroke Responsibilities Assess, stabilize, and treat patients in the ED Perform trauma care, stroke care, laceration repair, orthopedic trauma management, ultrasound IV insertion, IO insertion, eye examination, EKG, psychiatric and cardiopulmonary care Collaborate with EMS agencies and support other units as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years ED experience for contract labor Minimum 1 year ED experience for HCA hired staff BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, TNCC certifications (required for contract labor, preferred for HCA staff) Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills Dependable, punctual, adaptable Strong understanding of medical terminology and EKG interpretation (preferred) Personal Attributes Motivated, creative problem solver with a strong desire to care for patients. Focused on excellence in patient care and experience, works well with colleagues and EMS agencies.
