Senior Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Minneapolis, MN, US Job Family: Manufacturing Country/Region: United StatesThis position is responsible for performing various equipment maintenance and repair activities on a wide spectrum of machines. This is a key position for maintenance and manufacturing equipment installations and operation resolutions. It has impact on the ability of manufacturing to meet its production schedules.Major Areas of AccountabilityEnsure that all assigned production equipment is maintained at peak operating effectiveness with minimum downtime (within established budgets/costs)Co-ordinate maintenance with area lead according to production build plansMake recommendations and participate in process and equipment changes/improvementsPerform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) during equipment malfunctions.Provide project support for area lead and engineersCoordinate tooling and equipment repair with supplier(s), as neededTrain other personnel on trouble shooting and minor machine repairsMaintain supply of spare parts for corrective maintenance activitiesCommunicate/perform effective handoffs with off-going and on-coming maintenance techs and teamsIdentify quality issues that need further investigation and dispositionFollow all relevant safety regulations and promote a positive safety cultureColoplast employees are required to conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards; comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required, AA or two-year technical degree in relevant discipline preferred.5+ of maintenance experience with an AA or two-year technical degree or 15+ years of maintenance experience without an AA or two-year technical degreeRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to work with a variety of machinery and equipmentCapable of reading and interpreting specifications/printsMust work well in a team-oriented environmentAble to follow procedures and adhere to safety practicesTroubleshooting knowledge and skillsExperience with pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical machineryAbility to operate lathes and milling machines to fabricate precision parts for support and repairAbility to organize and prioritize workWorking knowledge of QSR and ISO regulationsBasic computer skillsAt Coloplast, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the contributions of our employees.
