Maintenance Technician

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly capable Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of a 300-unit Class A residential community near Framingham, MA Pay is $25-27/hour with a schedule of 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm (On call and OT is available) Full-Time Maintenance Technician We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a residential apartment community in Ashland, MA. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall physical condition of the property and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities Complete resident service requests and maintenance repairs in a timely manner Communicate with residents regarding service request updates and pending repairs Perform general repairs in apartments, common areas, and building systems Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, including repairs and make-ready tasks Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash removal and cleanliness Identify and address safety concerns immediately Maintain records for preventive maintenance, service requests, work orders, and unit turns Order maintenance supplies and equipment as needed Assist with deliveries, appliance moves, and furniture relocation when necessary Perform seasonal grounds work including raking, sweeping, shoveling snow, and salting walkways Change locks and keys as needed Participate in emergency repairs and on-call coverage Qualifications 1+ years of property maintenance or related maintenance experience required Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance Heat pump experience is a plus Knowledge of pools, landscaping, and cleaning preferred HVAC certification required - EPA/CFC certification required or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire CPO certification preferred Must provide own tools Reliable transportation required for vendor pickups and supply runs Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to obtain Fair Housing certification prior to resident/prospect interaction Strong customer service and communication skills This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional looking to join a stable team with strong benefits and long-term growth potential. ...Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis.
