Must be in the office 5 days a week. After 2 -3 months will consider to allow 3 in office and 2 work from home.

No Travel

 

Seeking a Job Captain/Project Leader who can manage internal and external teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role collaborates cross-functionally (Design, Engineering, Operations) and may take on special assignments to support division initiatives and process improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration

• Work across Design, Engineering, and Architectural Operations teams
• Support new technology initiatives and design development efforts
• Identify roadblocks and recommend process improvements
• Manage multiple project teams and outside consultants

Project Management & Quality Control

• Oversee construction documents, lot specifics, and revisions
• Ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Interpret construction codes and project requirements
• Maintain data accuracy and follow established workflows
• Exercise independent judgment while coordinating stakeholders

Leadership

• Support development of standards and procedures
• Assist senior leadership with limited business analysis
• Promote best practices across teams

 

Qualifications

Required

• Associate Degree or technical certification
• 5+ years related experience, including 2+ years in project/people management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word
• Architectural and construction knowledge
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred

• Bachelor of Architecture
• Experience with SketchUp and BIM360
• Residential project experience
