Technical Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager Technical Project Manager to support technology and operational initiatives following a recent acquisition. This role will focus on analyzing current manual workflows and partnering with an AI/automation technology vendor to design and implement more efficient, technology-driven solutions. This is a high visible role with an exciting client looking to enhance their technology team. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of technical project leadership, analytical thinking, and business collaboration, with the ability to guide complex initiatives from discovery through implementation. This role offers a unique opportunity to help introduce agentic AI–based tools and automation frameworks into an established business environment. This position will work closely with internal business leaders and external technology partners to evaluate current processes, define target-state workflows, and help deploy automation solutions that improve efficiency and scalability. Key Responsibilities Lead technical project planning and execution for workflow automation and AI-driven initiatives. Conduct discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to understand current business processes and identify automation opportunities. Document current-state and future-state workflows and help define solution requirements. Partner closely with an external AI and automation vendor to scope and deploy solutions across multiple use cases. Coordinate across technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to drive project progress and maintain alignment. Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables while ensuring timelines and priorities remain on track. Facilitate discussions around solution design, implementation planning, and operational impact. Help translate business challenges into practical technical solutions. Provide clear updates and reporting to the business leader overseeing the acquisition. Key Outcomes for the Role Success in this position will be measured by the ability to: Identify and scope automation opportunities within newly acquired business processes. Help deploy agentic AI and automation solutions that reduce manual workflows. Establish scalable frameworks for future automation initiatives across the organization. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing technical or technology-enabled projects. Experience working with workflow optimization, automation, or process improvement initiatives. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and external technology vendors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions, discovery sessions, and process documentation. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in fast-moving, evolving environments. Preferred Experience Experience working with AI, automation, or intelligent workflow platforms. Exposure to agentic AI tools or automation frameworks. Experience supporting post-acquisition technology or operational integration efforts.
