Job Overview Manufacturing Planner 3 located in Hazelwood, Missouri. Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, bills of materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations. Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements, and manage tools from design to end‑of‑use disposition. Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues. Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs and provide input to design and manufacturing processes to meet cost and schedules. Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. This position will support an MESci manufacturing planning rewrite within the BDS Fabrication organization, requiring collaboration with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement standard manufacturing plans. Basic Qualifications 5 or more years’ related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master + 7 years). Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers. Experience with 3D model‑based instruction. Experience with Siemens NX, IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, common image (MESci). Experience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.). Education / Experience Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor + 1 year or 5 years’ related work experience).
