Job Title: Operator 1, Warehouse Operations
Work Location: 106 Roche Drive, Durham, NC 27703
Pay Rate: $18.20/hr on W2
Schedule Time: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (40 hours per week).

Position Summary:

• Executes routine warehouse tasks, material movement, and distribution functions within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Applies basic knowledge and operational skills to complete prescribed steps while adhering strictly to site quality and safety guidelines.
• Works under general to limited supervision in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily warehouse and operational tasks following established SOPs and scientific/operational protocols.
• Operate forklift equipment safely to move, load, unload, and stage materials across warehouse areas.
• Adhere strictly to site safety regulations, quality guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team leads, supervisors, and co-workers to maintain steady workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate operational records and clean work areas.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Forklift Experience: Minimum of 6 months of hands-on forklift driving experience is required.
• Language & Math: Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Protocol Adherence: Must be able to follow basic written instructions, standard operating procedures, and site protocols consistently.

 

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic skills training in operational processes or warehouse/industrial experience preferred (0 - 5 years experience).

Additional Information:

• Physical Requirements: Required to lift and/or move objects weighing over 50 lbs.
• Pre-Employment Requirements: Requires a 10-panel drug screening and full background check clearance prior to start (no exceptions).
