Senior Accountant

Accurate, timely and thorough maintenance of general ledger and generation of financial statements, reconciliation of accounts, monthly and ad hoc reporting and analysis, support of annual audit. Ensure timely and accurate accounts receivables including billing, reviewing automatic payments, posting cash deposits, etc. Ensure timely and accurate accounts payable including entering invoices and generating checks for signature, printing and sending 1099's at year end. Manage daily business needs while advancing forward on long-term financial projects. Reporting to the CFO and performing ad hoc tasks as required Requirements Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience. Experience in Transportation/logistics 3-5+ years related accounting experience—General Ledger, A/R, A/P, and Payroll. Knowledge of GAAP. Demonstrated experience with accounting systems and controls, and financial reporting and analysis. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Experience with accounting software Proven attention to detail.
