Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher at a vibrant, innovative K-5 school with an emphasis on hands-on learning in mathematics, science, and engineering. Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to elementary students receiving special education services, adapting curriculum as needed
• Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Partner closely with classroom teachers and specialists to ensure inclusive practices and student progress
• Use data-driven decision making to monitor student growth and adjust interventions
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment where all students are empowered to succeed
• Communicate and collaborate with families, keeping them engaged in their child’s learning journey
• Maintain completion of all required documentation and timely reports

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
• Knowledge of current best practices in resource room management and differentiation
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to cultivate a classroom culture of respect and high expectations
• Resume and copy of MN Teaching Certification required for consideration
