Job Overview The Multi Store Asset Protection Manager oversees all aspects of Asset Protection and supports company profit objectives and customer service goals. They are responsible for multiple high‑volume locations, including staff leadership, safety monitoring, and shortage risk mitigation. What You Will Do Lead all security operations to support profit and service goals. Protect and monitor company assets, alarms, property, employees, and visitors by enforcing all Company and Security Policies. Hire, train, and supervise the security staff; develop direct reports for growth and performance. Communicate with Facility Management and MSC Asset Protection on shortage/security issues, recommending solutions. Identify causes of shortage, investigate internal and external dishonest activity. Ensure compliance with all Corporate Security Policies and Procedures. Secure and monitor the movement of trailers in and out of the facility. Manage security fulfillment operations, including staff communications, scheduling, throughput, and processing standards. Develop and manage departmental budgets. Ensure the department meets or exceeds safety, shortage, cost control, quality, and customer‑service performance metrics. Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to chart progress toward goals. Maintain consistent, thorough, and timely communication with subordinates, peers, and senior management. Write and conduct performance appraisals for security staff. Provide a safe work environment and enforce safe‑work practices. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and authentic connections. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills You Will Need Leadership Skills: Direct all security operations with a focus on profit and customer service alignment. Security Management: Protect assets and investigate potential dishonest activity. Team Management: Hire, train, supervise, and develop direct reports. Communication Skills: Effective communication with internal partners and external stakeholders. Operational and Analytical Skills: Manage scheduling, throughput, and budget operations while interpreting data for decision‑making. Who You Are Either a bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent experience in a related field. 3–5 years of direct experience required. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to draft reports, present to management, and interpret technical documents. Strong numerical aptitude and basic math proficiency. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform occasional climbing, stooping, and kneeling. Requirements for close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Availability for a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
