Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a busy labor and delivery unit within a healthcare organization. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to women in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. The facility features modern technology and supports a collaborative team environment, requiring an experienced nurse proficient in labor management, cesarean section circulation, fetal monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a schedule cycle every 6 weeks.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, ability to work in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with labor management, cesarean section circulation, and neonatal resuscitation.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to all facilities within designated regions based on operational needs.
• Additional Information: The role involves supporting patient care in a high-volume labor and delivery unit, adhering to AWHONN staffing guidelines, and utilizing hospital-provided scrubs and free parking. Orientation includes 2 days of departmental training, and the position offers potential for low-census call, holiday work, and up to 6 days of RTO approval.
