EMT Instructor/Trainer

Emt Basic Program InstructorAssist with the instruction and training within the EMT Basic program in accordance with all standards. Assignments may include theory courses, skills laboratory supervision and instruction, and/or community based field learning assignments. Work within the guidelines of the department director as well as Rowan College at Burlington County. The primary and most important overall responsibility of all employees is to provide service in a pleasant, helpful, and effective manner to our students and other members of the College community. Accepts responsibility for the timely preparation of student outcomes assessment efforts of the faculty in planning, collecting data, and reporting dates as they relate to course outcomes, program outcomes, general education outcomes, and developmental program outcomes. Actively participates in setting annual division goals and objectives, completing OIR reporting forms, collecting data, analyzing data, and preparing a report using guidelines established by OIR.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught. Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.Minimum QualificationsCertified NJ EMT and NJ EMT instructor Certified CPR Instructor Minimum five (5) years EMT training experience/instructor experience. Education required National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) EMS Instructor-Level ISkills/Abilities/Knowledge/Other RequirementsClassroom, clinical and simulation lab expertise.EMT certification and instructor certification
