Job Description As a Nuclear Medicine Techat Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by: Performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes. Performing IV puncture, and administering radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated. Preparing exam room, communicating with the patient, obtaining informed consent when necessary, and requesting an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam. Receiving patients, explaining method of examination, and positioning patient. Selecting appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam. Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Posting Details Shift: Part‑time (20 Hours), variable Unit/Location: St. James Hospital, Butte, Montana Required Qualifications Associate Degree or equivalent from two‑year College or Technical School; or a minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and/or training. Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry. Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications At least one (1) year of experience in Nuclear Medicine. Hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking. Compensation The hourly range for this position is $38.20 - $59.58, dependent upon experience.
