Mechanic - Field Service Technician

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks Maintain a service van and its inventory Process paperwork after completion of each job Requirements Less than 2 years related experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred Familiar with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided Core Competencies Demonstrates strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair lift trucks, including knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics.
