Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Start date: 09/14/2026 for a 13-week duration. Weekly pay range: $1,354 to $1,409 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility with long-term acute care components.

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed PT in evaluating and treating patients within a LTAC/SNF setting under supervision
- Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, ROM, and functional mobility activities
- Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising clinician
- Ensure patient safety during all mobility and transfer activities; maintain equipment and therapy space
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning and goal attainment
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and facility policies

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the applicable state
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work in a long-term acute care / skilled nursing facility setting
- Willingness to work a 5x8 day shift schedule and travel assignment requirements
