IT Security Specialist

IT Security Specialist\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company that\nmanufactures HVAC and they're looking for an IT Security Specialist.\n\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization's IT\n systems.\n * Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security\n incidents.\n * Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with ISO\n 27000 standards.\n * Manage user access controls through Active Directory and LDAP.\n * Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.\n * Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies and\n procedures.\n * Provide training and support to staff on IT security best practices.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related\n field.\n * Proven experience in IT security roles with a strong understanding of network\n protocols (TCP, WAN).\n * Familiarity with ITIL framework and its application in security management.\n * Experience with Identity Management systems such as LDAP and Active\n Directory.\n * Knowledge of IDS technologies and their implementation in organizational\n settings.\n * Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop\n mitigation strategies.\n\n \n\nBenefits:\n\n * 401(k)\n * Dental insurance\n * Health insurance\n * Paid time off\n * Vision insurance\n\n \n\nSchedule: 8 hour shift\n\nLocation: Kingston, GA
