Senior LG Officer

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Issue, amend, liquidate, or cancel LG, Counter-Guarantee (issued & received) transactions, process transactions in accordance with ABK policies & procedures, and maintain proper records for banking instructions to be followed Key Accountabilities All activities to issue, amend (increase, decrease, extend, other) pay and cancel L/Gs & counter guarantees Swift messages and other correspondence Check credit Line and customer account availability Create current accounts with / without interest for crediting cash cover amounts. Follow up with branches to provide us with any original applications Corresponding with banks unit when asking & follow up their reply Compliance : with regulatory requirements governing LGs as well as bank’s approved policies & procedures & ensure compliance of all tasks performed with international & local regulations and bank’s policy and procedure Receipt : the daily postage, register them in the relevant sheet & register of all incoming LGs requests Report : Participate in preparing. Daily / monthly/quarterly Reports to CBE, Risk Management, FI, Finance, Corporate Bank, other periodic reports Handling minor internal and customer inquiries & complaints Sending all copies of amendments to the branches for delivery to clients whenever required for all LGs process e-archiving, scan, re-name and allocate the related transactions with its ref acknowledgment, amendment, until close and settle the file. Responsible to file copies of all the amendments/correspondence letters, approvals, original LG application original customer receipt in the LG file according to the sequence of the events, Recommendation of initiatives that improve the internal process Provide advice and technical assistance to account officers and branches regarding the L/G.
