Mary T Maryland specializes in neuro-rehabilitation for individuals with brain injuries. The Activity Program Manager will oversee daily operations of our day program, focusing on activities and creating opportunities for the people that we serve to integrate into the community and transition to independent living. The Program Manager is responsible for the quality of services provided to the individuals while at the day program.

The Program Manager is responsible for the quality of services provided to the individuals while at the day program.
Essential Functions and Job Duties Include:
- Recreational Therapy Programming and Scheduling:
- Programming:
- Develop daily program and activities for individuals, focusing on individual treatment goals
- Develop individual treatment goals (I/P) and complete checklist
- Develop and coordinate community outings
- Planning and organizing events for staff and families (i.e holidays, summer, spring)
- Plan and organize quarterly family support meetings for upcoming client events
- Create lunch menu for individuals during day program hours
- Ensure the Day Program is decorated each month with a theme and or celebration of the month i.e holidays, birthdays, seasons etc.
- Scheduling:
- Monthly, create individual clinical summary of treatment progress for psychologist
- Develop, train, create and implement daily schedule for staff and Activity Aides
- Weekly planning and review of activities with Activity Aides
- Programming:
- Employee Supervision:
- Train and give direction to Site Supervisors and Activity Aides in the program
- Hold all staff of the Day Program accountable to implement goals and engage clients in activities focused on their treatment goals
- Address and resolve any conflict amongst staff
- Review and approve staff timecards for accurate payroll processing
- Documentation/Communication:
- Manage daily email, Scomm's , t-logs, phone calls and incident reports
- Weekly communication with family members for individuals that are only in the day program
- Ensures all assigned QA items are completed on a weekly and monthly basis
- Conduct treatment team meetings
- Other responsibilities:
- Manages client financials, and program budget related to client activities; manages the company BILL Card for expenses including record maintenance of expenditures
- Maintains client petty cash and submits monthly reports to rep payee
- Ensure all necessary supplies are maintained for program running
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adults with disabilities
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with recreational activities/therapy and group dynamics
- Minimum of 1 year of management/supervision experience
- Minimum of 1 year of program management for individuals with disabilities
- Proficiency with use of Google Docs, Calendars, Spreadsheets and Word, excellent writing skills Basic computer skills

- Salary range of $53,000 - $56,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
