This role combines traditional business planning and analysis with broader business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting Starlink's leadership. Global Operations is embedded in daily operations, supporting both near-term execution and long-term planning. Team members are expected to analyze data and provide recommendations and to lead cross-functional decision-making and implementation of the recommendations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop comprehensive execution plan to implement market requirements for initial market access and rapid growth of operationsTrack and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the timeliness of activation upon full authorization in a market, product accessibility, and Starlink’s operational health in live marketsGuide planning and resource management for specific verticals within Starlink, including development of business modelsIdentify initiatives for improvement of Starlink's business outlook, including developing, tracking, and executing business initiatives with Starlink's leadershipIdentify and lead implementation of process and system enhancements to improve handoffs and execution across various teams, evolve the customer experience, or scale the business while balancing resourcesCollaborate and partner with cross functional teams in order to build a strong networking across these departments and with external resources to ensure complianceSupport and educate internal stakeholders on market requirements and timeframes, working collaboratively to achieve company objectivesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, economics, or finance4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or strategic planning1+ year experience based abroad or working with operations outside of the United States1+ year of experience with analytical skills (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, Excel modeling, etc.)PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Demonstrated success working in an environment with competing priorities and aggressive schedulesExperience leading complex operational and strategic initiativesAbility to define and manage a project independentlyExperience with SQL and creating/managing dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker)Experience using various programming languages (e.g Python, Javascript, R, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, Ruby)Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leadersADDTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Willingness to travel up to 50%Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekendsThis is not a remote position and would require being onsiteCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: Level 3: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
