Dental Assistant
Provident Behavioral Health
Seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support dental procedures in a correctional setting at a facility in Ocala, FL. The role involves assisting the Dentist and Dental Hygienist during chairside procedures, preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, maintaining the operatory, operating radiographic equipment, and handling administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a dental assisting program or six months of experience, and a Florida DA license or ability to obtain one. Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant and experience with dental x-rays are preferred. Candidates must maintain TB screening and CPR certification, and be able to obtain security clearance. The position offers a schedule of 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday.
