Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP/Cath Lab RN for a hospital-based role requiring active AR or Compact RN licensure and recent EP experience. Requirements Active RN license in Arkansas or valid Compact/Multistate license required ADN or BSN required Minimum 2 years of recent EP experience required; dual Cath/EP experience highly valued Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required Cerner charting experience preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist up to or exceeding 8-12 hours per shift Occasional lifting of 50+ pounds of equipment and patient lifting assistance of 125+ pounds Ability to push wheelchairs exceeding 150 pounds with patient and equipment Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations and manage high-stress scenarios Keen visual and auditory acuity for monitoring patient status and equipment alarms Responsibilities Work in a hospital Cath Lab/EP unit Scheduled Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri day shifts (4x10 hours, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM) 13-week assignment length Potential call-back requirements to be discussed with the director Performs pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for complex cardiac arrhythmia patients Works closely with electrophysiologists and cardiology professionals May provide on-call coverage after hours, holidays, and weekends Position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Travel experience is highly preferred though not required Skilled in a wide range of cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and LAA closure Experience with procedural sedation, hemostasis devices, and vascular closure systems preferred Completion of facility training modules required prior to or on first day before patient care begins Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-772217 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
