Per-Diem Social Service Counselor (Overnight)

Responsibilities Provides consumers with daily supervision, supportive counseling, and assistance with their activities of daily living skills Observes consumer self-administer their prescribed medication and provides daily medication education Facilitates social, recreational, and therapeutic activities with consumers Utilizes crisis intervention skills as required Qualifications BSW in social work, BA/BS in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field BA in an unrelated field with two years of previous experience AA in a related field with two years of previous experience Previous experience desired Valid New Jersey driver’s license Location Lyndhurst, New Jersey Employment Type Per-Diem Shifts Available Monday to Friday: 12:30 AM–8:30 AM Weekends (Sat–Sun): 12:30 AM–8:30 AM What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling options where available Opportunities to learn and grow within a mission-driven organization Hands‑on experience working with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team Potential for advancement or transition into full-time roles Pay $19.50 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr CBH Care
