System Administrator

Location 1 ONEONTA DR,WENATCHEE, WA, 98801-1500,United States Employee Type Tier 1 Exempt (CAP) We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team at Custom Apple Packers. This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting the company's core systems and shared technology services across multiple locations. This is primarily a systems administration role. The position supports identity services, Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, monitoring, and related systems. This position is not the primary administrator for network infrastructure or enterprise business applications, although all IT team members assist with general support when needed. Requirements Proven experience in system administration or enterprise systems support. Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments. Experience supporting identity management, user access, permissions, and authentication services. Experience with Microsoft 365 or similar collaboration and messaging platforms. Experience with virtualization, backup, storage, disaster recovery, and system monitoring preferred. Experience participating in change control, maintenance windows, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with vendors and departments. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, or CompTIA Server+ preferred. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Windows Server environments and related services. Support identity and access management, including authentication, permissions, access controls, and account administration. Administer Microsoft 365 services, including messaging, collaboration, file sharing, and productivity platforms. Support virtualization, storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. Monitor system health, performance, capacity, availability, and operational alerts. Troubleshoot system performance, authentication, connectivity, and service availability issues. Manage system upgrades, patches, testing, maintenance, and planned changes. Participate in change control processes and maintain documentation for system changes, outages, and corrective actions. Maintain system security settings, access controls, and operational standards. Coordinate with vendors and internal IT staff on support issues, projects, and upgrades. Provide escalation support to other IT team members for systems-related issues. Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to requests. Working Conditions Occasional evening, weekend, and after-hours support may be required. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work in warehouse and production environments as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including computers, printers, equipment, and tools. Ability to travel between local company facilities as needed.
