Telecommunications Manager

GS-13 – Salary Range: $111,119 – $144,457 per year. Qualifications At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience demonstrating: Completion of Interservice Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS) or the Army equivalent Electromagnetic Spectrum Managers Course. Expertise in Radio Frequency Management at Agency, National, and International level. Strong background in international treaties, national agreements, and arrangements pertaining to frequency protection and spectrum efficiency. Individual Occupational Requirements: Specialized experience in evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving communications systems, procedures, and requirements that demonstrate knowledge of current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology. Experience may include paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
