Owners Representative Project Manager - Quality Control and Commissioning (Austin, TX)

About the Role: As a Quality Assurance/Commissioning Owner'sRepresentative, you will be responsible for managing large and high-profileconstruction projects for clients, with direct accountability for projectdelivery. They are responsible for ensuring all deliverablesof construction projects are completed on time. Join our team onsite in Austin, TX! We are willing to provide relocation assistance for the right candidate. What You’ll Do: Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the progress ofconstruction. Review status of work completed during the period coveredand confirm work is aligned with the approved drawings and specifications. Review all documentation submitted by Developers. Thisincludes contractors’ direct cost payment requisitions, budget status,subcontracts, etc. Prepare Project Status and Construction Risk Assessmentreport. Recommend the release of construction funds. Review complexcontract drawings, specifications, and opine for completeness and generalcompliance with best practices. Evaluate the Developer’s direct and indirect cost budget.Coordinate with the Cost Advisory group performing parameter estimates andspot quantity take-offs. Make relevant comments on the terms of constructionagreements. This includes subcontracts, architectural, engineering design,and building loan agreements. Ensure the Contractor and Architect’squalification statements are up to date. Oversee large construction and disbursement schedules.This includes zoning approvals, certified surveys, building permits etc. Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, bettermethods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depthknowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertisein most or all areas within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuadesothers, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a differentpoint of view. Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project,or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided byfunctional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies. Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/oroperational plans in support of achieving functional goals. Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the abilityto influence. What You’ll Need: Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience andeducation will be considered. The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyondexisting solutions. Ability to solve unique problems using standard andinnovative solutions having a broad impact on the business. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitivemindset. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such aspercentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
