Medical AssistantInsight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant for a top healthcare services client. This individual will support providers in a clinic setting by delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with clinical and laboratory procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong clinical standards and exceptional customer service.Day-to-Day:Provide routine patient care under the direction of physicians or clinical supervisorsRoom patients and prepare them for examinationsAdminister medications, immunizations, EKGs, ear lavages, and assist with minor proceduresPerform venipuncture and manage laboratory duties (drawing, spinning, prepping samples)Maintain and stock exam rooms; clean and sterilize instrumentsManage patient medical records and enter encounters/test requisitions into the systemAnswer phones, triage calls, and assist with front office functions as neededCommunicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients per the provider's directionEnsure compliance with infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies
