Fiscal Specialist

Fiscal Specialist Location: Accounting San Bernardino, California. Position type: Contract – temporary 720 hours / 4‑4 1/2 months, starting July 6, 2026. Compensation: $24.00–$26.00 per hour. Responsibilities Under general supervision, performs fiscal duties and work in support of accounting processes. Verify accounts payable, audit, classify, process, track, post, and reconcile accounts payable, travel claims, and tax matters. Review and audit accounting documents such as invoices, requisitions, purchase orders, bills, warrants, and claims for arithmetical accuracy, completeness, and adherence to county policies, procedures, agreements, and contractual requirements. Verify totals and availability of funds before processing. Qualifications 2‑4 years of relevant experience. Good Excel skills. Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
