Sr. Wireless Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Wireless Engineer with deep Cisco expertise to support and optimize enterprise wireless networks in a global environment. This role focuses on design, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of large-scale Cisco wireless infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Cisco wireless networks (WLCs, APs, controllers)
• Manage Cisco Catalyst and AireOS-based wireless environments
• Configure SSIDs, RF profiles, roaming, QoS, and security policies
• Perform wireless surveys, RF tuning, and coverage optimization
• Troubleshoot connectivity, roaming, interference, and performance issues
• Analyze performance metrics: throughput, latency, signal strength
• Implement WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, and RADIUS-based security
• Collaborate with network teams on LAN/WAN integrations
• Maintain documentation and runbooks

Required Skills

• 7+ years in wireless/network engineering
• Strong experience with Cisco WLCs, Catalyst APs, Aironet
• Experience with AireOS and Catalyst 9800 controllers
• Strong RF fundamentals (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz)
• Knowledge of 802.11 standards and roaming concepts
• Strong troubleshooting across wireless layers
• Experience with 802.1X, RADIUS, and wireless security
• Ability to work in remote/global environments

Preferred Skills

• Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
• Ekahau or wireless survey tools
• Cisco switching and routing (Catalyst, Nexus)
• SD-WAN and cloud networking exposure
• Automation using Python, Ansible, APIs, DNAC
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
