Overview Description: Medical Surgical - Oncology Schedule: Nights, 7:00pm-7:30am, 12-hour shifts Facility: Resurrection Medical Center Location: Chicago, IL 60631 Responsibilities The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting. Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
3. IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
5. Work experience in health care preferred.
