Description:

The Juice Assistant Team Leader supports the daily operations and leadership of the Juice Department at Plum Market. Working closely with the Team Leader, this role ensures smooth and efficient production, accurate ordering, proper inventory control, and outstanding Guest Service. The Assistant Team Leader plays a hands-on role in managing day-to-day execution, training Team Members, and maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. In the absence of the Team Leader, this position assumes full responsibility for department operations.

What You Will Bring:

Knowledge of juice production processes and current Plum Market juice offerings.

Experience with inventory systems, order placement, and tracking daily movement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor Team Members.

What You Will Do:

Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to Guests and support the team in daily production.

Train, mentor, and coach Team Members on proper juice production, rotation, and quality control.

Compile next-day orders, split and send invoices, and oversee daily production schedules.

Maintain department inventory, track movement, and ensure accurate ordering and purchase journals.

Send weekly store statements, maintain compliance logs, and track time and attendance in the absence of the Team Leader.

Ensure timely and accurate execution of department tasks and deliverables, including invoice entry and production planning.

Partner with the Team Leader to ensure departmental standards, safety protocols, and Plum Market policies are upheld.

Communicate clearly with Store Leadership and Team Members to maintain efficient workflows.

Support a clean, organized, and food-safe environment at all times.
