PRN Registered Nurse Opportunity

Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is a rapidly growing, multi-state spine and joint care organization providing integrated clinical, surgical, and imaging services. With clinic locations across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, our care teams include IPS in North Carolina and Savannah Pain Management in Georgia, all operating as part of the SSJC organization. We are seeking motivated, qualified professionals to join us in delivering exceptional care across our growing network. We are seeking a PRN, self-motivated Registered Nurse for our South Carolina clinics who loves to transform lives through exceptional patient care! These roles will support clinic location in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population.
• Delivers patient care utilizing standardized evidenced based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administer medications and document all encounters and progress notes.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educates patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Educates care plans, provides emotional support and advise to patients and their family members

Qualifications

• Good standing RN License for the state of North Carolina without limitations
• BLS and ALS/ACLS Certified
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The employee must exercise sound judgment; maintain appropriate workplace boundaries; receive and respond to routine feedback and direction; protect confidential patient and business information; and address patient or workplace concerns through established supervisory and safety procedures. These functions are essential to the position.
