Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history analyses
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work intimately with surgeons to develop and execute individualized surgical plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, involving medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
